Dr.
Amy Plavin offers residents of the Pioneer Valley an integrated approach
to veterinary medicine, offering a range of services including traditional
veterinary care, acupuncture, herbal medicine and chiropractic care -
all tailored to the unique needs of your animal. Amy graduated from the
University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989 and then
pursued a career in small animal medicine before eventually moving to

offer a more holistic approach to the companion animal and to foster the
client, doctor and patient relationship. Dr. Amy is certified in veterinary
acupuncture, chiropractic care and completed advanced training in Chinese
Herbal Medicine and Western Herbal Medicine. Dr. Amy has recently become
a resident of Rockingham, Vermont and while she continues to practice
in Montague she is also expanding her services into southern Vermont.
Her hobbies include gardening, the breeding for show and sale of Connemara
ponies, eventing her ponies and sheep herding with her border collies
Meg and Mick.
